Terms of the mixing service

Short version: you send audio, Tytonic Audio mixes it by hand and sends back a WAV and an MP3. You pay half to book the slot and half when the final version is ready. The deposit comes back in full if work has not started, and the second half is never charged if the mix is not right after the included revisions.

The service

Tytonic Audio mixes audio that you supply (stems or a bounce). The result is delivered as a WAV and an MP3 of the mixed track. Nothing else is included unless agreed in writing before the work starts: no mastering, no production, no composition.

Turnaround and revisions

The first version is delivered within 5 days of the stems, the bounce and the references arriving. If a track needs longer, you hear that before the work starts, and you can cancel with a full refund of the deposit at that point.

2 rounds of revisions are included. A round is one set of notes, sent in one message. Further rounds are possible at a price agreed in advance.

Payment

$40 per track, 50% up front, 50% on delivery, by card (Stripe). The first half (the deposit) books the slot; work starts once it has arrived. The second half is due when the final version is ready. The final WAV and MP3 are sent once it has been paid.

Refunds

  • Before work starts: the deposit is refunded in full.
  • Not satisfied after the included revisions: the second half is waived. You keep nothing from the mix: no final files are delivered, and the deposit is not refunded.
  • After the final files are delivered: no refunds.

Your audio

By sending audio you confirm that you own it or have the rights to have it mixed. You keep all rights to your music and to the mix.

Your files are used only to produce your mix. They are deleted 30 days after delivery unless you agree otherwise in writing. Before/after clips of your track are posted only with your written permission.

The free analysis tool

The free mix analysis on this site is automated (AI). It is provided as is, with no guarantee that its score or its findings are correct, and it is separate from the mixing service. What it stores is on the privacy page.
